As we return to a month of 10's on the dual it looks like a cloudier week ahead but still generally dry.

The essentials;

1. We meet up at the Neath Canal Car Park in Resolven for signing on from about 18.00hrs and closing at 18.45hrs for a prompt 19.00hrs race start.

2. You have to be member of the PTW or a second-claim member of the PTW. There is no 'single race' fee - you have to join the club as a first-claim or second-claim member.

NB Aug 1st sees us make a rare visit to the R10/23.

Not a great night due to the headwind to the turn but there really were some cracking rides done this evening and you just know you'll get payback on the next float night.

Alan Griffiths got the event underway and stayed on course... result! Well done to our two 'noobs' Mike Davies and Ffion Davies (not related) who will probably knock a minute or more off their times next week even in the same conditions. I thought all of our girls did well with Hollie and Diane really well up in tonight's result table.

Ross did yet another good ride when compared to those normally around him but felt a bit flat following his PB (22:09) in Tuesday's PTW Open 10. Luke Dix won tonight's event with a 20:51 despite not really feeling up for it. However. Alfie's 'man of the match' award goes to Mike Portlock for getting uncomfortably close to Rod Hicks with a 21:27 which should translate to a '20' on the right night.

As always, thanks to Dai for the admin support and timekeeping (we cross-check every time nowadays) and to Will for pushing off and giving us the bird.
